Reasons to stay on resort property at Disney World

1. Cost -A common misconception is that staying on property is expensive, and while it can be, it doesn't have to be. I have found similar prices for off property resorts, staying off property doesn't actually save money! Plus when you figure in the free parking and transportation to the parks, it adds up!

2. Free overnight parking if you're traveling by car, and free transportation to the parks. An uber ride to the parks or parking at the park can get expensive quickly so this is a big deal. Depending on which resort you stay at, you'll be able to travel by park by bus, boat, monorail, or gondola. So fun!

3. Extra magic hours - you'll be able to take advantage of early entry (an extra 30 minutes in the park before the general public is allowed in) Early bird gets on the most rides! On select nights, they have extended evening hours. This is usually an extra 1-2 hours in the park (Magic Kingdom and Epcot only), which is amazing.

4. Free water park entry on check-in day in 2025. You read that correctly, for any guest staying in a Walt Disney World resort in 2025, drop your bags off and then head to the water park for free! Simply present your key to the world card and enjoy a day on the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon or the steep drops and thrill rides of Blizzard Beach.

5. Book your resort stay and park tickets as a package and only put down a $200 deposit! You can add a dining plan to your package, which makes experiencing breakfast with Disney characters or indulging in an adult beverage affordable.
